The start of my new lacrosse carrier begins with a 24 hours lacrosse
game, the Shootout for Soldiers. This event started in 2012, to help support
the Wounded Warrior fund, and help educate the public about the struggles our
veterans go through to protect the country. There are 24 one-hour games and an
accumulative score; you either play for Starts or Stripes. It just so happens
that the 20-30 year Open game is at 3:00am, it’s going to be a long day
tomorrow. If you are going to be in the Owings Mills area tomorrow, stop by and
watch a game or two. There will also be lots of other events going on
throughout the day, with lots of great raffles and apparel to purchase, and all
proceeds go to help the Wounded Warrior Fund
